Sandra Young, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Sandra Young practiced as a registered nurse for three years, afterwards she wanted to provide healthcare more independently. She became a nurse practitioner because she wanted to make a difference in patient’s health and quality of life. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Oregon Health Sciences University and soon after she graduated from Gonzaga University with a Masters in Nursing. She began her practice as a nurse practitioner in family practice and internal medicine. Over the years she has discovered the key to successful patient relationships starts with forming a partnership with her patients. She wants her patients to understand the importance of taking care of themselves. Her role is to provide the necessary education, resources, and motivation to help patients and families be successful in reaching their personal health goals. In her free time I enjoy working on my hobby farm, spending time with my animals, kayaking, and camping.

“Such a good experience! Very attentive, and it felt personal, not like I was just another patient.”
